Chicago Trauma Therapy

Our trauma therapy in Chicago addresses the profound impact of trauma and PTSD using a holistic approach that combines traditional talk therapy approaches like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mind-body practices like somatic therapy and EMDR for trauma. We utilize somatic therapy to facilitate body-based self-regulation skills. Our holistic trauma therapy approach also includes mindfulness practices to promote present-focused awareness, helping individuals with flashbacks and intrusive thoughts stay in the moment. CBT for trauma helps reframe negative thought patterns, empowering you to reframe your narrative and perspective. Our goal is not only to alleviate the symptoms of trauma but to empower individuals on a transformative journey towards healing, resilience, and reclaiming a sense of safety and control in their lives.
